This group of the six largest pension providers consists of four pension insurance companies (Elo, Ilmarinen, Varma and Veritas) and two public-sector pension insurers (Keva and The State Pension Fund of Finland). The information is available on our page Quarterly information on the breakdown of investments and on returns.
Interim data for previous years from 2005 onwards can be found in our statistical database in Tables 1, 2 and 3.
Durations of the bonds and the open currency position
Information on the durations of the bonds held by the largest authorized pension providers and information on the open currency position can also be found in our statistical database.
For the interest rate risk, duration (Table 4) means a modified duration that describes the sensitivity of bond investments to changes in the interest level. The open currency position (Table 5) describes potential risks affecting the investment portfolios of authorized pension providers, especially in terms of the currency risk.
More detailed information can be found on each pension provider’s own website.
