Right to inspect data in the register

Everyone has the right to know what information is stored in their personal data file. The inspection right must be exercised in person or through an authorized agent.

Any request to exercise the inspection right must be made in writing and verified by signature. The request can be sent by post or by email to tela(at)tela.fi.

In order to help with locating the data subject’s data, the request should indicate the person’s name, email address and postal address, as well as the context for using the personal data, or whether the inspection covers all the data concerning the person. The information is given in writing to the address provided by the data subject. If the request is submitted electronically, the information is sent in the same format to the party making the request. For this purpose, TELA can provide a form for filling in the data.

Rectifying the data

On its own initiative or upon request, the controller removes, corrects or supplements data that are faulty, unnecessary, deficient or outdated with regard to the processing. The request for rectification must be made in writing. The request to correct data can be submitted by email to tela(at)tela.fi

Erasing data from the register

The data subject is entitled to prohibit the processing of data concerning him or her for direct advertising and other direct marketing, as well as for market research and opinion polls, public registers and genealogical research. Data can be erased from the register upon the person’s request. The request for erasing the data should be sent to tela(at)tela.fi.
